This print shows a charcoal, chalk and coloured pencil drawing on Strathmore paper. I wanted to create a still life expressive of our summer – this is no sun-drenched Mediterranean shore. It's just the kind of seaside experience that was such a treat to me as a child. And it was a technical challenge to create it in this selection of media. I'm delighted with the result.
