Ginger Rogers No 2 : Hard to Handle Greetings Card

      SKU: PG29

The Ginger Rogers No 2: Hard to Handle Card features the second of a series of six charcoal and chalk drawings by Emily Tellwright.

These drawings show a selection of Ginger Rogers poses from the famous series of musical films she made at RKO in the 1930s with Fred Astaire. This is from my favourite Astaire and Rogers dance routine in the 1935 film Roberta. The whole sequence is done in one take, as if you are watching the dance live. I wanted to celebrate Ginger's poise, her expressive ability and her fabulous dresses.
