The ominous gathering clouds over the countryside viewed from the ruins reflect the disaster that befell the great house.

This greetings card shows a pastel drawing on Canson paper. I saw the wild sky filled with a gathering darkness that only happens in summer. But I only had a limited range of pastel colours available. Sometimes, restrictions can be stimulating and the result was this vibrant and exciting piece where the whole landscape seems to be moving under the force of nature.
