The Ginger Rogers No 3: Cheek to Cheek Card features the third of a series of six charcoal and chalk drawings by Emily Tellwright.

These drawings show a selection of Ginger Rogers poses from the famous series of musical films she made at RKO in the 1930s with Fred Astaire. This is her most famous dress, notorious for shedding feathers during the dance. It’s from one of the pair’s best known routines, Cheek to Cheek in the 1935 film, Top Hat. I wanted to celebrate Ginger’s poise, her expressive ability and her fabulous dresses.
