The Summer Storm Near Witley Court Tea Towel is full of colour and energy to give your kitchen chores a perk. Witley Court is a ruined mansion near Worcester that experienced a disastrous fire. The ominous gathering clouds over the countryside viewed from the ruins reflect the disaster that befell the great house.

This framed art print shows a pastel drawing on Canson paper.  I saw the wild sky filled with a gathering darkness that only happens in summer. But I only had a limited range of pastel colours available. Sometimes, restrictions can be stimulating and the result was this vibrant and exciting piece where the whole landscape seems to be moving under the force of nature.
