      Ginger Rogers No 6: Change Partners Coaster

      The Ginger Rogers No 6: Change Partners Coaster features the first of a series of six charcoal and chalk drawings on grey Strathmore Paper.

      These drawings show a selection of Ginger Rogers poses. All are from the series of musicals she made at RKO in the 1930s with Fred Astaire. This one is from 'The Continental' routine in the 1934 film The Gay Divorce. I wanted to celebrate Ginger's poise, her expressive ability and her fabulous dresses. 

      I love old films and film stars, and charcoal and chalk is the perfect combination for capturing monochrome drama and elegance. The results look stunning on the bright-white gloss finish of these coasters
